The Board of Directors of the Whitby Sports Hall of Fame is pleased to announce the following inductees to be honoured at our 2022 Gala Induction Ceremony:
Ed Docherty – Athlete – Karate
- Winner of 6 Karate Canada National Championship medals in Kata and Kumite disciplines
- 5-Time Ontario Provincial Karate Champion – Kata (1996, 1999, 2001); Kumite (1993, 2001)
- Represented Canada at 4 World Chito-Ryu Karate Championships – 2007 World Champion (+75kg Kumite)
